The MCV100 is a battery powered weather
resistant ventilator specifically designed to meet the unique demands of
mass casualty incidents. This ventilator delivers ambient air or oxygen
at a tidal volume range of 200 to 1200 ml, and ventilation cycles of
between 8 to 20 breaths per minute. It also features an assist control
function for spontaneous breathing, a full array of audible and visual
safety alarms, and provides an optional capability of air mixing. The
MCV100 can be powered by its internal rechargeable battery or by
standard 110 volt electricity.
The "Emergency Preparedness Ventilator" 100 is a small, cost-effective, and reliable unit for mass casualty emergency situations.
The EPV100 Portable Ventilator shares most of
the same features as the EPV200, without
the Assist-Control. It's lightweight, durable, and resistant to most
weather conditions (including rain).
This unit can be powered for 48 hours via two D-cell batteries,
or can be pneumatically controlled via an oxygen source. On the front is
a user-friendly display, on which emergency responders can clearly see
the inspiratory time, tidal volume, and BPM controls.
In addition, responders can keep track of a patient's condition with the
various audio and visual alarms on the unit.
This unit is lightweight and long-lasting,
making it best for emergency situations requiring critical support or
stockpiling for future use.
